Roles and Responsibilities
Planning: Create project plan that includes milestones and deadlines, anticipate potential delays and plan contingencies
Quality Assurance: Ensure the work is executed as per the approved plan and work meets quality standards, building codes, and regulations
Project management: Oversee construction projects from start to finish
Communication: Interact with clients, vendors, suppliers, other engineers, site supervisors, and workers
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and prepare mitigation strategies, relay the goals for each project
Leadership: Serve as a conduit between construction stakeholders, buyers, materials suppliers and earn the trust of colleagues
Site Engineer
Experience – 2 to 10 years
Roles and Responsibilities
A site engineer manages construction of projects, and their responsibilities include:
Project management: Oversee construction projects from start to finish
Communication: Interact with clients, vendors, suppliers, other engineers, site supervisors, and workers
Technical duties: Provide technical support to workers
Health and safety: Ensure site security, health, and safety
Planning: Develop plans and blueprints
Coordination: Coordinate material deliveries
Tracking: Track project by progress
Record keeping: Maintain records
Supervision: Supervise staff on the job site
